Learn More About Controlled Environment and Clean Rooms

Low Ambient Cooling

Generally, HVAC systems can’t cool when outside temperatures are below 65F, but Mr. Slim’s ambient cooling capabilities allow it to keep working when the temperature is as low as 0F. In a traditional system, running the compressor when the temperatures are low causes the indoor coil to freeze.

To stop that from happening, low-ambient systems cycle the outdoor fan motor on and off to deter icing from occurring inside the unit. Simultaneously, the wind baffle blocks wind from whipping into the unit and turning the fan the opposite way. That prevents your space from becoming unnecessarily hot, and it also means you don’t have to worry about the equipment breaking down if you need to run it in cold temperatures.

Inverter Technology

Inverter technology means that the speed of the inverter varies based on the temperature in the room. That gets the room to its target temperatures faster, but it also boosts efficiency, saving you money on cooling. On top of that, inverter technology keeps your room at a consistent temperature all year round. You don’t have to worry about electrical or computer equipment getting damaged due to excessively high or low temperatures.

Quiet

Whether you own a fitness studio, an office full of computer equipment, or a data center, you don’t want the sound of your HVAC system to drown out your staff or your customers. Luckily, Mr. Slim runs extremely quietly. Both the indoor and outdoor units operate at noise levels that range between the gentling rustling of leaves in a forest and the sound of a quiet dishwasher in the next room.

Ductless

With a ductless HVAC system, installation is relatively straightforward. The indoor and outdoor units are only connected by a few wires and refrigerant lines. That makes these HVAC systems compatible with both new and existing construction.

Zoned

With zone technology, you can control each indoor unit separately. That allows you to vary the cooling based on the needs of different rooms or spaces in your facility, which saves money while also increasing comfort levels.

Dehumidification

Mr. Slim HVAC units also have dehumidifying properties. This creates drier air in your facility, which improves indoor air quality and reduces the risks of mold or mildew. Additionally, drier air is safer for your equipment, as it protects electronic and metal components from unnecessary moisture. At the same time, however, you can control humidity levels to reduce static electricity.

Advanced Microprocessor Controls

Microprocessor controls give you more control over your HVAC system. These built-in electronics ensure efficiency, provide optimal performance, and give you the comfort you need. You can use the system’s remote controls to set temperature ranges and humidity levels, and in addition to creating a pre-set schedule, you can manually adjust these settings as desired throughout the day.

If you have sensitive equipment that needs protecting, you need a HVAC solution that makes that possible.
