Zoned Mitsubishi Ductless AC Gives Lexington Garrison Colonial Comfort and Security

One of our favorite things to do is give a homeowner back their views of the outside world after years of putting up with window air conditioners. The residents in this Lexington garrison colonial home were dealing with that exact problem. We were able to help these homeowners get rid of four ugly, noisy, and inefficient window units while adding quiet, state of the art cooling to their home!

Our homeowners wanted to make sure they used a reliable contractor who had a verified reputation for excellence. They chose N.E.T.R., Inc. because of our outstanding reviews on Angie’s List. We were able to give them an air conditioning solution, tailored perfectly to their needs, that will be reliable and efficient for years to come.

Four unsightly, inefficient window units were blocking 4 windows, detracting from the home’s overall aesthetic and racking up huge electric bills.

Solution: A four-zone Mitsubishi ductless split system powered by one outdoor condenser and four wall-mounted heads, also known as cassettes.

Multi-Zone Ductless Solution for This Classic Home

Our homeowners were frustrated by the seasonal chore of installing and uninstalling window units and wanted to make sure the spaces where they spent the most time- their living room and the bedrooms- were comfortable. In addition, there have been reports in nearby Acton and Woburn of break-ins by pushing in the window air conditioners. These homeowners knew that this meant each window unit made the home more vulnerable, so they knew it was time to look for a better solution.

Based on the homeowner’s need to air condition several rooms in the house, we recommended a four-zone Mitsubishi ductless system.

We ran all four heads off the same outdoor unit, enabling us to thread a single, small line from the outdoor unit to each room with a wall mounted cassette.

In the picture below you can see how great the wall units look in each room. They are mounted on the wall, out of the way, and best of all, the family gets their windows back and makes their home safer at the same time!

Best of all, the family now has quiet, efficient air conditioning that is adjustable at the touch of a button and individualized for each room. In addition, these Mitsubishi ductless units will be able to provide supplemental heat in the winter using the Hyper-Heating technology.  This ensures everyone is the perfect temperature, all year long.
