Maybe your furnace only needs a tune-up. Here's how we can help!

Check the filters. If you’re prone to forgetting to replace your heating system’s filter, this can cause stress and strain on your entire system because it works harder to push air through the furnace and into the ductwork. Our technician will replace the filter as needed and recommend a trusted air filter brand for you to use in the future.

Check the ductwork. This should happen at least once a year and our heating company recommends doing this in the early fall months. Our heating specialists will check for open joints, dust buildup, mold, rust and other signs of wear and tear on the system. Anything that shows signs of corrosion need to be repaired or replaced.

Clean ductwork and registers. Clearing out and pet dandruff, dust and other debris from your ductwork and registers not only improves your indoor air quality, but also allows for a more even heating throughout your home. If your family is prone to allergies or you have multiple pets, we recommend cleaning these at least once a year.

Clean furnace combustion chamber. Your heating system is working hard to heat your home the majority of the year, so it’s important to give it a thorough cleaning before it starts back up again for the fall/winter season. Our certified technicians will first turn off the electric or gas to the unit, then inspect the chamber and clean dust and debris off as necessary.

Clean the blower. This is a major part of your central heating system. The blower works to push air through the system and requires an HVAC technician to clean using a specialized vacuum.

Check blower belt. Keep in mind that not all furnaces have a blower, but if our technician does come across one in your system, we will inspect it to ensure it has proper tension on the belt and assess it’s overall condition.
