We do a lot of jobs in the gorgeous homes of Boston’s South End, so when we got a call from a homeowner on Upton Street, we were familiar with the problems they were experiencing. The Ideal Air Conditioning Solution for a Boston Brownstone
In the end, we chose a textbook Brownstone solution.
Based on the homeowner’s wish to have absolute control over the temperature in every room in the house, we recommended a five head multi-zone unit from Mitsubishi.
Because we can run all five heads off the same outdoor unit, which keeps the cost under control, we were also able to make this install quickly and efficiently.
We dropped the condenser on the back patio and hid the line in a piece of crown molding, so it blends right in with the brick. All in all, the installation was seamless and didn’t interfere with the home’s beauty.
